FATA Development Authority invites applications from highly motivated candidates domiciled in FATA and Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, for selection on merit, against the following vacancies in, FATA Development Authority.

General Manager (Finance)

BPS-20

(i)   ACMA/MBA in Finance from an HEC recognized university 15 years relevant experience of working in Govt. or in a large private organization. or

(ii) CA (preferable foreign qualified) with 05 years experience in Finance / accounts or

(iii)   Ph. D in Economics, Financial Management or Accounting, with 03 years experience in the relevant field.

·   Well versed with international auditing and accounting standards.

·   Knowledge of Income Tax / Sales Tax laws.

·   Proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point is essential.

35-50 Years

Rs. 1,000/-

Rs. 140,000/- PM to Rs. 155,000/- PM (with 5% annual increase upto the maximum of the package)

General Manager (Minerals)

BPS-20

·     B.Sc/B.E (Mining Engineering) or Master Degree in Geology with major in Sedimentology / Mineralogy / Petrology from an HEC recognized university.

·     15 years practical field and managerial experience in a Public or Private Mining concern / project.

            Preference will be given to those having senior level experience in policy / strategy development in Mineral Sector Development Program, experience in independently managing an organization or a section or division of a large Public Mineral Sector Organization experience in Geological mapping based knowledge of Geology and a good knowledge of regional geology of FATA / Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, experience in desktop mapping and GIS and having ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary staff, Management ability with an understanding of project management principles, ability to liaise and negotiate at a senior level in the public and private sector, to develop priorities, procedures and standards, to plan, monitor and control the entire development process, coordinate, guide and interact with Consultants and Contractors to develop and follow realistic plans for the projects to meet timeline, cost and quality targets.

35-50 Years

Other Conditions:

 

·     Appointment will be purely on contract basis, initially for upto two years, extendable on performance basis and with mutual consent.

·     Age relaxation in deserving cases can be considered as per Government rules.

·     Only short listed candidates will be invited for test/interview.

·     No TA/DA will be allowed for test/interview.

·     Complete applications on the prescribed application form with resume should be sent within 15 days of the publication of this notice. Prescribed application form can be downloaded from the FATA-DA website www.fatada.gov.pk.

·     Incomplete or applications received late will not be entertained.

·     Govt. employees should apply through proper channel.

·     Candidates will be required to furnish Demand Draft / Pay order of Rs. 1,000/- with the application, as processing fee (non-refundable) in the name of Secretary, FATA-DA.

·     The Competent Authority reserves the right to change any condition, not to fill, increase/decrease No. of vacancies or cancel the recruitment process.
